존경하는 동포 여러분,

조지아 동남부 연합한인회를 찾아주셔서 감사합니다.

저희 조지아 동남부 연합한인회는 미국 조지아주 동남부 5개 카운티와 12개의 중소도시에 거주하는 3,000여 명의 한인들이 하나되어 협력하며 함께 발전해 나가고자 출범한 단체입니다. 최근 사바나 항구의 급성장과 현대자동차 및 협력업체 200여 개 이상의 한국기업들이 사바나와 인근 지역에 진출하면서, 앞으로 2만 명 이상의 한인 인구를 보유하게 될 것으로 예상되고 있습니다.

이미 동남부 지역은 애틀랜타에 이어 두 번째로 큰 한인 사회로 성장하고 있으며, 그동안 중단되었던 한인회의 필요성이 다시 대두되었습니다. 이에 저희 연합한인회는 새로운 패러다임과 시대적 요구에 부응하며 새롭게 탄생했습니다.

지금 우리는 빠르게 변화하는 시대에 살고 있습니다. 우리 한인 커뮤니티가 단합하고 차세대를 위해 든든한 기반을 마련하는 것은 우리의 사명입니다. 조지아 동남부 연합한인회는 문화, 경제, 교육, 복지 등 다양한 분야에서 동포 여러분의 권익을 대변하고 지원하는 역할을 다하겠습니다.

저희 한인회의 출발은 단순한 시작이 아닙니다. 진정한 연합과 미래를 향한 굳건한 약속의 출발점입니다. 앞으로도 변함없는 관심과 성원을 부탁드립니다. 함께 손잡고 더 나은 내일을 만들어 갑시다.

Welcome Message from the President of the Korean American Association of Southeast Georgia

Dear Fellow Koreans and Visitors,

Welcome to the Korean American Association of Southeast Georgia.

Our Association brings together more than 3,000 Korean residents spread across 12 cities and five counties in the southeastern region of Georgia. United in our mission, we strive to foster cooperation and mutual growth as a vibrant and progressive community.

With the rapid growth of the Port of Savannah and the arrival of Hyundai Motor Group and over 200 Korean partner companies, our region is projected to soon become home to over 20,000 Korean residents. As the second-largest Korean community in Georgia, following Atlanta, the Southeast Georgia Korean community is entering a new era of growth and opportunity.

In response to this growth and the evolving needs of our community, our Association was reestablished to serve as a cornerstone for the present and a bridge to the future.

In this era of rapid change, it is our duty to build a strong, unified community and lay a solid foundation for future generations. The Korean American Association of Southeast Georgia is committed to representing and supporting the rights and interests of our fellow Koreans across cultural, economic, educational, and social welfare sectors.

Our journey is not merely a new beginning but a renewed pledge to unity and a brighter future. We sincerely ask for your continued interest and unwavering support as we move forward together.
